Here are the top 5 natural skincare products that I loved using in September 2018:

Walden ‘See The Moonlight’ Natural Perfume Oil* (10ml, £17)

Ingredients: Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Peel Oil, Jasminum Sambac Flower Extract, Santalum Album Oil, Myrocarpus Frondosus Wood Oil, Iris Pallida Root Oil, Evernia Prunastri Extract, Cistus Ladaniferus Oil, Pogostemon Cablin Leaf Oil, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Hibiscus Abelmoschus Seed Oil, Citrus Aurantium Flower Oil *Benzyl Benzoate, *Eugenol, *Treemoss Extract, *d-Limonene, *Citral, *Citronellol, *Geraniol, *Farnesol, *Linalol

Since I received this roll-on perfume in the June LoveLula Beauty Box, it has become my all-time favourite perfume! I’ve now completely ditched high street perfumes as they’re so overpriced and contain hundreds of fragrances potentially irritating to your skin and as an eczema sufferer, I have to be so careful. If you think you can’t get gorgeous-smelling natural perfume, then you seriously need to explore the Walden Natural Perfumes range. The scent of this perfume (with top notes of bergamot, followed by jasmine and rose heart notes, finished with base notes of sandalwood) is so wonderful and right up my street – woody and earthy but also quite sensual. The small/ travel size of the roll-on also makes it perfect for carrying in your bag (and when travelling light) and because it’s in oil form, it lasts throughout the day. I seriously want to buy a few bottles so I never ever run out!

Kathleen Natural Rebalancing & Soothing Tonifying Mist (150ml, £23)

Ingredients: Aqua, organic vegetable glycerin, organic chamomile (anthemis nobilis) flower water, aloe barbadenesis extract, lemon (citrus limon) extract, benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, parfum

***licensed by Soil Association *natural plant origin

Looking quite inconspicuous (I think it’s the rather plain and dated branding, if I’m completely honest!), this toner is a bit of a dark horse in the world of facial toners. I just love how it makes my face feel afterwards – hydrated and plumped up. I particularly like using it overnight under my Alverde Day Essence which I mentioned in my August favourites post as the combo has worked so well to combat my dry skin, no doubt thanks to aloe vera and hyaluronic acid – skin quenching ingredients. Don’t be put off by the alcohol in this formulation – I’m normally very sensitive but this toner is extremely gentle and the alcohol only acts here as a preservative.

Geo Mitchell bath salts* (150g, £14)

Ingredients: Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Limonene, Linalool, CI 45100/42090

These wonderful smelling bath salts contain a blend of salts that are brilliant at soothing aching muscles (magnesium salts) and healing skin conditions (Dead Sea salts). I’ve also used them on my boys as Leo suffers from eczema and they really enjoy playing with and swishing the water with pinky salts in. l’Odaïtès Pépite de la Palmeraie – Gentle Polyphenol Exfoliator* (60 ml, £39)

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Phoenix Dactylifera (Dates) Fruit Powder, Phoenix Dactylifera (Dates) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Leaf Juice) Gel, Mel (Honey), Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Sucrose Laurate, Tocopherol, Ascorbic Acid, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Parfum (Fragrance), Citric Acid, Aqua.

This scrub from a French brand l’Odaïtès may not be the cheapest but it contains a rather unique ingredient – dates. Rich in polyphenols, powerful antioxidant agents, minerals and amino acids, the date extract is ideal for those whose skin needs rejuvenating. The pips are ground to create a gentle (and most importantly, biodegradable) exfoliation beads while the fruit extract itself is within the formulation to hydrate, smooth and tighten the skin. This scrub also contains Vitamin C to brighten your skin as well as aloe vera, honey and plant-based oils (sunflower and olive oils) for extra hydration. I personally can’t get enough of this scrub’s scent – the smell of dates (which I love!) makes me want to eat it! As i mentioned before, please be careful when opening the bottle though – mine nearly split all over the floor!

The Rose Tree Energising Body Oil with Apricot & Palmarosa* (100ml, £29)

Ingredients: Carthamus tinctorius seed Oil, Prunus armeniaca kernel Oil, Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, Argania spinosa kernel oil, Helianthus annuus seed oil, Cymbopogon martinii oil, Calendula officinalis flower extract, Tocopherol, Citrus sinensis peel oil, Citrus bergamia peel oil. Natural constituents of essential oils: d-Limonene, Geraniol, Linalol, Farnesol, Citral

I really wish I could somehow transport the scent of this gorgeous body oil down to you. It’s such a calming as well as a stimulating blend of plant based oils (safflower, apricot, jojoba, sunflower, argan) and essential oils (palmarosa, calendula, sweet orange and bergamot) which linger on your skin for hours and hours on end, while also quenching your skin with much needed moisture.
