Welcome to my weekly gratitude list where I share all the every day moments that have made me happy and made me appreciate life, No matter how mundane life can sometimes feel, there’s always so much to be grateful for which is why I collate these gratitude lists every week!

It’s been a busy half term week for us. Even though it was quite full on and my little Maxi wasn’t too well for some time, I tried to enjoy it as much as possible. As the date for my return to work is looming, I really wanted to make the most of my time with the boys.

So this is what made me happy this week:

~ Photography course ~

Back in February, the Hubby got me for my birthday a two-day photography course for beginners at the London Institute of Photography and last weekend I finally attended it. It was such a great course and I’ve learnt so much! I’ve always had a very strong interest in photography but I’ve really got the bug now so am really tempted to sign up for more courses!

~ A new lens camera ~

Following the course, I got myself a new lens (45-150mm) for my camera and I’m loving how I can take nice portrait shots with it.

~ Half term fun with the boys ~

We were out pretty much every day this week seeing friends, going to the park and a farm. I loved feeling the beautiful sunshine on my skin (although I got a bit burnt!) and both Leo and Max really enjoyed being outdoors. On one of the days, I was sitting and chatting with a friend, the sun was shining, there was a gentle breeze, we were having a nice cold drink, the birds were chirping and I realised how much I would miss these week outings when I return to work…

~ New kitchen gadgets ~

After much deliberation, I finally got us a slow cooker and while I still don’t have a clue what to use it for or how to use it, I’m really excited to put it to a good use as I’ve heard such good things about slow cookers. I also got a new cake tin and a couple of lovely smelling soy candles 🙂 It’s the little things that make you the happiest, right?

Have a fab weekend everyone!

    • Thanks Katie, that’s such a great tip, I’ll definitely look into these FB groups. I still haven’t got the slow cooker out of the box though!! Crazy how long it’s been since I got it! xx #HappyDaysLinky

    • It was a really good course actually, I should have really taken it years ago! The sun was so welcome, especially during half term as it meant we could spend some time outdoors 🙂 xx #HappyDaysLinky
